Graduated in the field of film directing from The Faculty of Dramatic Arts and joined the Iranian TV in 1973 beginning her career as continuity girl and assistant director. Later on, she made a number of short documentaries and directed her first picture Off The Limits in 1988. Her next films are Canary Yellow (1989) Foreign Exchange (1990), Nargess (1992) and The Blue-Veiled (1995).

The Women Rights Activists of Iran, consisting of a vast spectrum with different points of view from religious to secular and ordinary women, pose their questions to the 10th presidential candidates of Iran and three of them discuss their opinions after watching the film. But Ahmadinejad is not willing to take part in the film or to respond. By the time the film is ready three of the individuals who have taken part in the film land in prison during the post election massive detentions. This film assists understand the actual situation of Iran.
