The Women's International Film & Television Shorts Showcase (TheWIFTSS) is created
by The Women's International Film & Television Showcase (TheWIFTS Foundation) with the same aims and objectives in mind. The recognition of women producers, directors and cinematographers worldwide in film & television creating 'Shorts' as a 'Showcase' of their talents on the way to accomplishing their individual dreams as filmmakers. Elspeth Tavares creator of TheWIFTS concept Commerce & Creativity, Passion & Integrity on which the fiscal foundation of TheWIFTS was founded, introduced TheWIFTSS at TheWIFTS 2008 inaugural event.

Conditions of Acceptance
TheWIFTSS accepts any Film or Television Short (Maximum Length 15min.) produced over the last 3 years and not screened at any other Shorts Festival or film event in the current year. Acceptance of the film is based on the criteria of a woman director, producer, cinematographer or scriptwriter.

1. Complete & submit electronically the above form.
  
2. Send via email to: materials@thewifts.com the following:
     -  Still from the film (jpg or tiff in color at 300dpi)
     -  Directors photograph (jpg or tiff in color at 300dpi) 
  
3. The Showcase will accept Posters & other publicity material for
    Display at the event. (Posters must be sent in a tube for protection)
 
4. All the shipping expenses of the film, posters, etc from the place of
    origin to TheWIFTS, must be paid by the filmmaker.
