I am interested in becoming a volunteer for The Women’s
International Film & Television Showcase scheduled from Nov 30 - Dec 4, 2009
& TheWIFTS Documentary Showcase Day (Nov 29th 2009) I understand that I must participate
in a volunteer orientation program that will be conducted prior
to the event which
will include general information about the event and specific training in the areas
of the film showcase
where I may be assigned.

interested in becoming a volunteer (Please check all the areas that you might have
an interest):
Theater (Usher, crowd control, tickets,
security for reserved seats, etc.)
Invitations (Stuffing envelopes,
delivery)
Press/Media (Crowd control at press conferences,
greeting filmmakers, assistant to
media executives, etc.)
Special Event Assistant
Guest Relation Assistant (Working with
the travel department team to help coordinate arrivals
and departures of VIPS and filmmakers).
Administration Assistant (Assist departments
with printing, distribution, assembly of welcome bags, etc.)
Information Centers
Receptionist
Hospitality & Press Rooms
Transportation (Must have valid driver’s
license)
Film print delivery to theater / film print
security (Must be able to lift 50 lbs)
Programmers’ assistants for administration duties with filmmakers
A general orientation training session
)prior to the film
showcase will give an overview of all areas in which to volunteer.
Specialized training in each area will be a part of the orientation.
The Women’s International Film & Television Showcase
can not be done without the incredible participation of our volunteers.
